Innisbrook, Fla. – The College of Coastal Georgia women's golf team finished eighth Tuesday at the 2017 USCB Innisbrook Invitational.

The Mariners finished out the two-day, 54-hole event with a 346 score for a three-round total of 1,039. Coastal Georgia shot 355 and 338 in the opening two rounds on Monday.

The tournament was contested on the Island Course at the Innisbrook Resort.

Top-ranked SCAD-Savannah ran away from the field as it won the team championship with a 928 score. Tournament host USC-Beaufort finished second at 964 and Keiser was third at 968. Faulkner finished fourth at 980 and William Carey finished fifth at 982.

Faulkner's Hannah Sager won the individual title at 9-over-par 225. She shot 78-73-74 and finished five shots ahead of Samantha Fuller from Keiser who was the runner-up at 230.

For the Mariners, Kylee Wheeler led the way with a top-20 finish as she tied for 17th with a 243 score that included rounds of 86-79-78. Molly Antor and Megan Ramer both tied for 34th at 260. Antor shot 87-85-88 while Ramer posted 85-87-88.

Also for the Mariners, Megan Collins was 54th at 276 with scores of 97-87-92 and Kinsley Dowling was 63rd at 301 with scores of 103-102-96.

The Mariners will compete in the Thomas Invitational next Monday and Tuesday in Valdosta.
