Brunswick, Ga. – The softball games between the College of Coastal Georgia and Ave Maria that were originally scheduled for Wednesday have been moved to Thursday.

The doubleheader will still be played on the Coastal Georgia campus, but will begin at noon instead of the original 1 p.m. starting time. The second game will begin 30 minutes following the conclusion of the opening game.

The teams agreed to move the games back a day since the weather forecast calls for a 75 percent chance of rain beginning late Wednesday morning and continuing through the early afternoon.

The local forecast for Thursday calls for sunny skies with a high temperature of 67 degrees.

Coastal Georgia is off to a 6-2 start.
