Brunswick, Ga. - Several College of Coastal Georgia student-athletes performed well academically in the recently completed fall semester.

Six Coastal Georgia student-athletes finished the term with a perfect 4.0 grade point average while 36 additional student-athletes had at least a 3.0 GPA, giving the athletic department 42 total student-athletes who made a 3.0 or higher during the fall.

The six student-athletes who had a 4.0 GPA in the fall were Allie Shannon, Cayley Meiners and Alexis Downey, all from women's volleyball, and Olivia Husted, Paige Alt and Morgan Cobb, all from women's softball.

Also, five Coastal Georgia teams had an overall GPA that exceeded 3.0. Those teams were women's softball (3.22), women's volleyball (3.12), women's golf (3.11), women's tennis (3.06) and men's golf (3.05).

Those student-athletes who finished the fall with a 3.0 or higher GPA are listed below by sport. The list does not include the above-mentioned student-athletes who made 4.0.

Men's basketball: Momodou Senghore, Jonathan Canada.

Women's basketball: Jakaria Fleming, Khaila McMorris, Kaci Palo, Lynsey Washington.

Men's golf: Taylor Guilbeau, Lauri Hacklin, Eamon Owen, Ajay Patel, Paxton Shuman, Michael Spinger, Harrison Stafford.

Women's golf: Libby Luedtke, Niquole Mangal, Madison Manning, Ana Mashevsky.

Men's tennis: Rhan Burton, Ben Dolan, Nathan Kimmel.

Women's tennis: Madeline Garner, Ingrid Kasabkojian, Samantha Lasslett, Samantha Sepe

Women's softball: Katie Burns, Taylor Horne, Dawn Stewart, Kensey Solomon, Savannah Money, Katie McGinnis.

Women's volleyball: Rachel Amundson, Alyssa Keeve, Jennifer Johnson, Kyra White, Jesi Garrett, Jessica Brown.
